Rob van der Woude's Scripting Pages

This web site was built somewhere in winter 1997/1998 as a kind of on-line tips and tricks database for myself.

It now attracts over 15,000 visitors each working day, so it seems there is a "market" for scripting in general, and batch files in particular.

I believe in learning by examples, so you will find lots of ready to use scripts here, some of them both as batch file for several DOS versions and as Kix and/or Rexx scripts.

Most of the more recent batch files are for NT (i.e. Windows NT 4 through Windows 7), but you will find many "real DOS" and OS/2 examples too.

I love writing scripts, especially the ones that prove that almost everything is possible in batch files.
I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.
